Within the framework of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with judicial institutions, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Hussaini, Dean of the College of Law, accompanied by a delegation from the College, paid an official visit to the Presidency of the Babylon Court of Appeal.
The delegation was received by His Honor Judge Hamid Nomas, President of the Babylon Court of Appeal, where the Dean and the accompanying delegation extended their sincere congratulations on his assumption of office, wishing him continued success in carrying out his judicial responsibilities.
The meeting addressed a number of issues of mutual interest and explored avenues for strengthening cooperation and partnership between the College of Law and the judicial institution. Such collaboration is intended to contribute to enhancing the academic and practical aspects of legal education, providing students with broader opportunities for professional training and practical application, and drawing upon judicial expertise to support the academic process.
The meeting also underscored the importance of strengthening communication and collaboration between the academic community and the judiciary, thereby contributing to the preparation of law graduates who possess sound theoretical knowledge and practical competencies, and who are well equipped to meet the evolving demands of legal and judicial practice.
This visit forms part of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen its institutional relationships with judicial, academic, and professional bodies, and to establish effective partnerships that enhance the quality of legal education, bridge academic knowledge with practical applications, and respond to developments and emerging requirements in the legal and judicial professions.
