As part of the activities of the Fourth International Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week, the Cybersecurity Department at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on campus under the slogan “Your Digital Security Is the Sustainability of Your Data.” The campaign aimed to promote awareness of cybersecurity concepts and methods for protecting personal data and information. The campaign featured active participation from the department’s staff and students through a series of educational and interactive activities addressing key digital risks and safe practices, contributing to a stronger culture of digital awareness and responsibility among students and visitors. The activities included practical demonstrations and simulations of common hacking and online fraud techniques, highlighting the risks of suspicious links and social engineering methods. The campaign also provided guidance on protecting accounts, using strong passwords, and adopting safer practices when using digital platforms. The campaign is part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Science and the Cybersecurity Department to promote digital awareness and strengthen understanding of cybersecurity threats, in line with the university’s commitment to supporting innovation and digital transformation and building a safe and sustainable university environment.
