The Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University honoured the top-performing students for the 2025–2026 academic year across seven scientific departments today, Tuesday, 6 October 2026. The ceremony was held at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Hall of the Engineering Building, in the presence of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, along with several heads of scientific departments, academic staff, and students.
The honouring included the top-performing students from the Departments of Computer Engineering Techniques, Building and Construction Engineering Techniques, Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques, Electrical Engineering Techniques, Fuel and Energy Engineering Techniques, Cybersecurity Engineering Techniques, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering Techniques. The recognition was presented in appreciation of their academic excellence and outstanding performance, and to encourage them to continue their academic journey and achieve further accomplishments.
The ceremony also included the recognition of students who participated in the training programme in Britain, in appreciation of their participation in international training programmes and the scientific and practical knowledge and skills they gained. Such experiences contribute to enhancing their academic and professional readiness and linking their theoretical knowledge with practical applications and labour market needs.
The Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, praised the outstanding academic level achieved by the top-performing students, commending their efforts in attaining academic excellence. He emphasised that achieving top positions is the result of diligence, perseverance, and commitment to developing scientific and intellectual capabilities.
The Dean called on the honoured students to continue their journey of excellence and distinction and to utilise their knowledge and skills in building their academic and professional futures. He stressed the importance of continuous learning, research, and innovation, and encouraged them not to settle for the achievements they have already attained.
The honouring ceremony comes as part of the Engineering Technical College’s commitment to promoting a culture of academic excellence and distinction, encouraging students to engage in positive academic competition, and supporting their participation in international training and professional development opportunities.
