The Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, continues to conduct practical lectures and laboratory applications for its students as part of the practical courses, providing them with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge and acquire scientific skills through direct laboratory practice. The laboratories host a variety of experiments and practical applications under the supervision of the department’s teaching staff and in accordance with the nature of each course. Students are trained to use laboratory equipment, tools, and materials and to handle them according to scientific principles and approved guidelines. These practical applications contribute to enhancing students’ understanding of scientific concepts and linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience. They also develop skills in observation, accuracy, analysis, and handling scientific results, strengthening students’ ability to understand their courses and apply their concepts practically. The educational laboratories also provide an important environment for developing students’ scientific and practical skills, enhancing their ability to work systematically and adhere to laboratory safety procedures, thereby preparing them for the requirements of advanced academic and specialized stages.
