The Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University has commenced the 2026–2027 academic year with a meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. The meeting was attended by the directors and staff of the Scientific Affairs, Cultural Relations, Quality Assurance and Accreditation, and Science and Technology Parks Departments, as well as representatives of the Sustainability and International Rankings Divisions.
The meeting reviewed the achievements of the previous year’s scientific and academic plans and programmes and identified priorities for the upcoming phase in coordination with the college deanships, aiming to enhance performance quality and improve the university’s academic outcomes.
Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized the importance of directing scientific research towards applied fields capable of addressing real-world challenges, encouraging publication in high-impact international journals, joining international research groups, and leveraging academic partnerships to produce joint research with scientific and economic impact.
The meeting also stressed the importance of active participation in scientific conferences and workshops, improving the quality of the university’s academic journals, and completing the requirements for their inclusion in international databases. It further highlighted the need to evaluate existing agreements and memoranda of understanding and activate them through joint academic and research programmes and projects.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of Al-Mustaqbal University’s recent delegation visit to several Jordanian universities, which focused on expanding cooperation in academic programme development, training and short-term programmes, student and academic exchange, joint scientific research, quality assurance, and accreditation.
