Under the direction and supervision of Al-Mustaqbal University President Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the patronage of College of Engineering Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, the third cohort of the Master’s Program in Systems Design Engineering has begun its studies. Offered in academic collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), the program reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and developing high-quality postgraduate programs. The launch was attended by Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi; Associate Dean of the College of Engineering for Scientific Affairs Dr. Ali Kamel Kareem; and Program Coordinator Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Mohammed Reda Yahya Al-Khafaji. The program’s continued delivery to a third cohort reflects the commitment of Al-Mustaqbal University’s leadership and the College of Engineering to expanding postgraduate study opportunities in modern engineering disciplines. It also provides students with an advanced academic environment in which they can benefit from international expertise and curricula, helping them develop their academic and research skills in systems design engineering and modern technologies. The program also reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening academic cooperation with reputable international universities and developing educational and research programs that keep pace with scientific and technological advances and meet labor-market needs. The program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
