On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the postgraduate programs in "Electronics Systems Design Engineering" and "Clinical Anatomy" were officially launched at Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). This pioneering initiative marks the first of its kind in Iraqi higher education, both in public and private universities.<br /><br />The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, with the attendance of the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Zahd, Babil Governor Mr. Adnan Faihan, the Director of Private University Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Mahdi, as well as a delegation from USM and presidents of universities in Babil Province.<br /><br />In his speech, Babil Governor Mr. Adnan Faihan emphasized that this program represents a significant milestone in Iraqi higher education, commending Al-Mustaqbal University for its role in fostering academic collaboration. Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Zahd highlighted the importance of the program in achieving Iraq’s internationalization objectives and overcoming challenges to this success.<br /><br />The Malaysian delegation stressed the importance of their partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University and expressed hopes for strengthening ties between Malaysia and Iraq. The event concluded with a presentation by Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Al-Khafaji, who explained the study mechanisms, examinations, grading system, and academic specializations.<br /><br />The ceremony concluded with remarks by Al-Mustaqbal University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, who extended his gratitude to all speakers, attendees, and organizers of this significant academic event.
