Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Baghdad Establish a Strategic Academic Partnership to Promote Innovation and Academic Excellence

In a significant step toward strengthening academic collaboration, Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Baghdad signed a joint scientific and cultural cooperation agreement during the Academic Bridge Initiative Forum. The agreement aims to expand cooperation between the two universities and advance higher education and scientific research in Iraq in line with the demands of digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The signing ceremony took place during the meeting between the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, in the presence of several academic leaders and officials from both institutions. The agreement encompasses a number of strategic areas, including promoting digital transformation in academic institutions, supporting joint research projects in artificial intelligence and intelligent systems, encouraging the publication of collaborative research in prestigious international journals indexed in Scopus, and advancing modern educational technologies. The partnership also emphasizes cooperation in training and capacity building through the exchange of expertise and the implementation of professional development programs for faculty members, administrative staff, and students. In addition, it provides for the coordination of academic programs, curriculum development, and the promotion of both virtual and in-person knowledge exchange initiatives. This agreement reflects the shared vision of both universities to foster academic integration, create an innovative and sustainable educational and research environment, and contribute to the advancement of higher education in Iraq while opening new horizons for scientific collaboration and institutional excellence.
