Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the National Workshop on the Quality of Bologna Process Implementation, hosted by Al-Noor University in Mosul. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, along with a broad participation of presidents and vice presidents of public and private universities, as well as distinguished international experts and specialists in higher education development.
Representing the University were Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Mohammed Kitab, Assistant Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, underscoring the University’s commitment to actively contributing to national initiatives aimed at advancing higher education.
The workshop featured scientific and interactive sessions addressing the current status of the Bologna Process implementation in Iraqi universities, the challenges encountered, mechanisms for external evaluation and quality assurance, and successful international experiences in academic policy development and the enhancement of learning outcomes in line with European standards and accreditation requirements.
Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its ongoing dedication to keeping pace with global developments in higher education and to strengthening academic and administrative quality, thereby further consolidating its position among leading universities at both the national and international levels.
