*Al-Mustaqbal University Council Holds an Emergency Session to Discuss Academic Achievements and Urgent Files* The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University held an emergency session on the morning of Sunday, July 5, 2026, chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and attended by members of the Council including assistants and deans, to follow up on the instructions received from the Ministry and to ensure the continuity and smooth flow of academic and administrative work during the summer vacation. _The Council_ discussed the key items on the agenda and adopted the following resolutions: 1- *Followed up* on the ministerial (HEPIC) system, and directed the relevant staff to expedite the completion and accurate updating of student data, while organizing summer vacations to ensure the completion of this vital file in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. 2- *Approved* the executive mechanisms for granting remedial marks to critical cases for final-stage students, based on the latest ministerial regulations and in keenness to safeguard students’ interests and academic future. 3- *Reviewed* the progress rates of students’ summer training, and discussed the external training plan and student exchange programs with Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the aim of enhancing practical skills and opening horizons for international cooperation. 4- *Discussed* the outputs and recommendations of the recent workshop on the (Bologna Process), presented by the Director of Quality, with the aim of updating curricula and developing academic systems to align with global education quality standards. 5- *Emphasized* the need to move the recommendations of the international and local scientific conferences recently organized by the University into actual implementation, and to transform research into applied projects that serve the community.
