The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, conducted a field tour to follow up on the progress of the university’s development and expansion projects, particularly the project for developing classrooms and modern laboratories serving the university’s colleges. The tour included a direct review of the completion rates of construction works and technical finishing stages, as well as an assessment of compliance with approved engineering and planning specifications and quality standards. These efforts aim to provide an advanced university environment that meets the needs of students and supports the educational and research processes. The University President emphasized the importance of maintaining progress in accordance with the established schedules, commending the efforts of the University Affairs Department and the implementing company to complete the projects to the required standards. These developments will enhance the readiness of the facilities to welcome students into an integrated, safe, and modern academic environment. The projects are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4, which promotes quality education, and SDG 9, which supports infrastructure and innovation. They reflect the university’s commitment to sustainably developing its educational and research facilities.
