Students of the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science participated in their summer training as part of the first batch for August, held at several healthcare institutions, including Al-Salam Hospital, Al-Hayat Hospital, and Babylon Private Hospital.
This training reflects the Department’s commitment to enhancing the students’ practical and applied skills, providing them with an opportunity to become familiar with the laboratory work environment in healthcare institutions and apply the scientific knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their academic studies.
The training involves third-year students under the supervision of Dr. Aseel Amer Hadi, Department Coordinator, and Dr. Karrar Majid Obeid, Lecturer, who follow up on the training activities and provide the necessary guidance to help achieve its scientific and training objectives.
The Department of Biochemistry emphasizes the importance of summer training in preparing students with the practical experience and professional skills needed to enter the labor market efficiently and contribute to the healthcare sector and society.
