As part of the scientific and academic activities aimed at strengthening the research presence of the teaching staff of the Department of Biochemistry at Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdul Hassan Nasser evaluated a scientific research paper submitted for publication in the prestigious international journal Talanta, which is classified among Q1 journals and has a high impact factor exceeding 6. With this contribution, the total number of research papers he has reviewed has reached 27 papers. The research paper is entitled: “From Mapping to Trace-Element Quantification: A Comparative Study of Iron Meteorites Using Micro-XRF, WD-XRF, p-XRF, and TXRF” The study presents a comparative investigation of several X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analytical techniques and their applications in elemental mapping and the determination and quantification of trace elements in iron meteorites. The research contributes to assessing the efficiency of these techniques and their potential applications in advanced analytical and geological studies. This scientific contribution reflects the continuous academic and research activities of the department’s teaching staff and highlights their scientific expertise and active presence within the international research community through reviewing and evaluating manuscripts submitted to reputable international scientific journals.
