Al-Mustaqbal University has made its debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, achieving a global ranking in the 1201–1400 band among 2,297 universities from 118 countries and regions. This milestone reflects the university’s ongoing development in academic and research performance and strengthens its presence among globally ranked higher education institutions.
This global recognition was welcomed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, who extended his congratulations and appreciation to all university staff, including faculty members, researchers, and employees, commending the academic, research, and institutional efforts that contributed to the university’s inclusion in one of the world’s prominent university rankings.

According to the published results, Al-Mustaqbal University ranked second in Iraq after the University of Technology and first among Iraqi private universities, within the 1201–1400 global ranking band.
