The College of Fine Arts Council at Al-Mustaqbal University held its first meeting for the 2026–2027 academic year on Sunday, October 4, 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Huda Hashim Mohammed Al-Rubaie, Dean of the College, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Heads of Academic Departments, including the Head of the Department of Design, Department Rapporteurs, and the Quality Assurance representative. The meeting discussed a number of academic, organizational, and administrative matters related to the launch of the new academic year, particularly the organization of working hours and lectures and the follow-up of the educational process. It also addressed the completion of the requirements of the 2025–2026 academic year, student promotion procedures, and the completion of SIS requirements. The Council emphasized the importance of advancing the research output of teaching staff and encouraging the preparation and publication of scientific research in reputable local and international journals, thereby strengthening the College’s academic and research standing. The session also addressed several administrative and organizational matters, emphasizing continued coordination among the College’s departments and units to ensure smooth workflow and achieve high standards of performance throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.
