The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, participated in the proceedings of the GOTECH 2026 Global Energy and Innovation Exhibition and Forum, held in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of his ongoing efforts to provide the University’s students with the best educational and professional opportunities and open new global horizons for them. On the sidelines of the forum, the University President met with representatives of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – Khalifa University Chapter, discussing ways to strengthen Al-Mustaqbal University’s role in global professional networks and establish channels of cooperation that would enable students to gain direct exposure to the latest sustainable energy technologies and actively participate in specialised international forums. The visit also included discussions on mechanisms for activating distinguished training programmes for the University’s students at major global oil companies, including Oilserv, Schlumberger (SLB), and Dragon Oil, with the aim of facilitating the transfer of up-to-date knowledge and developing students’ practical skills to equip them to meet the requirements of international labour markets.
