Accounting Department at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes Workshop on Sustainable Human Development and Its Role in Building a Positive University Environment The Accounting Department at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a workshop entitled “Sustainable Human Development and Its Role in Building a Positive University Environment” on Tuesday, October 7, 2026. The workshop was presented by Lecturer Mohammed Abdul-Munim, with the attendance of a number of students, as part of the department’s efforts to support scientific and awareness-raising activities that contribute to promoting sustainable development within the university environment. The workshop addressed the concept of sustainable human development and its importance in developing individuals’ capabilities and skills, with a focus on its role in building a positive university environment based on cooperation and constructive interaction, while encouraging students to actively participate in university life. The workshop also highlighted the importance of investing in human potential and promoting positive values, contributing to a supportive educational environment for academic and personal development and strengthening the university’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This workshop is part of the Accounting Department’s efforts to organize programs and activities that raise awareness of sustainable development concepts and enhance the university’s role in building a more positive and interactive university community. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.
