Department of Forensic Evidence Organizes an Educational Workshop on Blood Groups
The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an educational workshop on blood groups, presented by Assistant Lecturers Bushra Hussein Atiya and Huwaida Nazzal Hussein. The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of blood group identification and connect theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory work.
The workshop covered the ABO and Rh systems and demonstrated blood grouping using laboratory reagents and the observation of agglutination reactions. It also emphasized accurate interpretation of results and adherence to laboratory safety procedures.
This workshop forms part of the department’s educational activities to develop students’ laboratory skills and deepen their understanding of the relevance of blood groups to medical and forensic fields.
