On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences organized a scientific workshop and discussion session titled "Safe and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence." The session was led by faculty member Rafal Qusay Fadhil and attended by a group of the department's students. The workshop highlighted the ethical and legal dimensions of using AI tools in educational and research contexts, placing special emphasis on privacy protection, data security, and mechanisms to mitigate digital risks associated with rapid technological advancement. The event saw active engagement from the students, who posed questions and offered insights regarding the optimal, ethical, and responsible utilization of AI technologies. This activity is part of a series of academic and educational initiatives sponsored by the department to enhance students' skills and prepare them to meet the demands of the digital labor market.
