The Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries at Future University organized an awareness campaign as part of its Women’s Affairs program titled “Together Toward a More Just Society: Women’s Empowerment Is a Source of Strength for Society,” under the supervision of M.M. Zainab Hassan Ali, M.M. Abrar Falah Naji, and Engineer Nour Faisal. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the gender gap, the importance of amending discriminatory laws, and the promotion of policies that support women’s employment, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 on gender equality and Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth. This initiative seeks to strengthen women’s role in sustainable development, entrench the principles of justice and equal opportunity, and build a more equitable society.
