Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished academic and research presence in the 2025–2026 University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) World Rankings by Subject, securing advanced positions nationally. This achievement reflects the university’s growing presence in academic performance and scientific research indicators and strengthens its standing in international rankings. The university ranked first in Iraq in Chemical Sciences, placing 1,161st globally. It also ranked second nationally in four disciplines: Energy and Fuels Engineering, placing 500th globally; Mechanical Engineering, 744th; Chemical Engineering, 752nd; and Materials Engineering, 967th. In addition, the university ranked third in Iraq in Technology, placing 1,214th globally, and third in Engineering, placing 987th globally. It also secured fourth place nationally in Medical and Health Sciences, ranking 1,784th worldwide. On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, congratulated the university’s faculty members, staff, and students on this significant achievement. He commended the scientific and research efforts that contributed to these advanced results, noting that they reflect the fruits of institutional teamwork and the combined efforts of all university departments and colleges.
