The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, received Dr. Mohammed Al-Shammari, Member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, at the University Presidency, as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen communication with national figures and institutions that support higher education and academic development. The meeting addressed several issues related to the development of the educational and research processes, with discussions focusing on ways to enhance joint cooperation, improve academic performance, develop higher education outcomes, and strengthen their alignment with labor market requirements and development needs. During the meeting, MP Dr. Mohammed Al-Shammari praised the remarkable development and comprehensive advancement witnessed by Al-Mustaqbal University across its academic and infrastructure sectors. He commended the university’s distinguished academic presence and advanced position at both the local and international levels, emphasizing the importance of continuing to support educational institutions and strengthening their role in shaping the future of younger generations. For his part, the University President emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and communication with various national institutions and figures in a manner that supports the university’s progress, enhances its efforts to develop education and scientific research, and reinforces its role in serving the community. At the conclusion of the visit, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University presented the University’s Commemorative Shield to MP Dr. Mohammed Al-Shammari in appreciation of his visit and his support for educational and academic institutions. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
