President of Al Mustaqbal University Receives Director General of Babylon Education and Discusses Prospects for Joint Cooperation and Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al Mustaqbal University, received Mr. Ali Raji, Director General of Babylon Education, as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen its relations with educational and academic institutions in the governorate. During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations in support of the educational process, while providing school students with scientific and technological opportunities that contribute to developing their abilities and nurturing their talents. The meeting addressed several key areas, including: • Organizing training courses and programs for educational staff in modern technologies and digital education. • Involving school students in robotics and artificial intelligence programs implemented by the University’s Technology Incubator. • Organizing scientific visits for senior-year school students to the University’s laboratories and colleges. • Holding joint seminars, workshops, and events in scientific, cultural, and community-related fields. • Providing academic and career guidance to sixth preparatory-grade students regarding academic disciplines and educational opportunities. • Exploring the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to regulate areas of cooperation between the two sides. The University President affirmed that Al Mustaqbal University places its scientific, technological, and human resources at the service of the community and its educational institutions. He noted that cooperation with the Babylon Directorate of Education represents a natural extension of the University’s role in serving the community and supporting sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of building early bridges between schools and universities to prepare a scientifically and technologically qualified generation. For his part, the Director General of Babylon Education expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University Presidency for the warm reception, praising the scientific and community-oriented role played by Al Mustaqbal University. He also affirmed the Directorate’s readiness to cooperate and activate joint programs that would benefit students and educational staff across the governorate. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and proposals and agreed to follow up on the implementation of the matters discussed through joint committees representing both sides.
