First Edition Results of Arab Region University Rankings 2023 have been announced, which stems from the combined efforts exerted by Association of Arab Universities, Arab States League, Arab Educational, Cultural & Scientific Organization (ALECSO), all along with the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils. We are obliged to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has come in the 42nd Place among 115 Arab Universities, the First among Iraqi Private Colleges & Universities, and Third among Public Universities.
It is worth noting that the Arab Region University Rankings aims to improve the Outcomes of Higher Education & Scientific Research in order to acquire the ability for leading Arab Development, and bringing Arab Universities to Third and Fourth Generations of Universities, in addition to generating an International Ranking in the Arab World, equipped with Modern Standards that can keep pace with the requirements of the Arab world, along with other International University Rankings.
It is considerable to note however that Arab Region University Rankings is based on the achievement of Accuracy & Objectivity through a number of Indicators and Standards, which do evaluate the University Comprehensive Tasks, including Teaching & Learning Quality as well as Distinguished Faculty Members, with which the University could establish an Action Program to realize its objectives that comprise Reform & Development, Scientific Research, Creativity, Leadership and Innovation, all along with the promotion of an applicable Economic Dimension.
Finally, we should note that 208 Universities have submitted applications to join the Arab Region University Rankings, but only 115 Universities have been included in the Ranking, representing 16 Arab Countries out of 22, the total number of the Arab League Countries.
