Congratulations on the Anniversary of the Iraqi Police

On behalf of Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, and all the staff of the center, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the brave Iraqi police on the occasion of their founding anniversary on January 9th. Al-Mustaqbal University President Grants Appreciation to Director of AI Applications Center, Center Staff, and Faculty for Outstanding Participation in the First AI Exhibition

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, extended his appreciation to Professor Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, the center's staff, and several faculty members from Al-Mustaqbal University for their outstanding participation in the First Artificial Intelligence Exhibition held at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Technical Institute of Najaf, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Al-Mustaqbal University secured the first place among the participating universities, a remarkable achievement that highlights the university's leadership and excellence in the field of artificial intelligence and scientific innovation.

Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications Publishes an Outstanding Scientific Paper

A research paper by Professor Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi has been published in the scientific journal Journal of Iraqi Al-Khwarizmi (JIKh) titled: "Two Stages Approach for Detection and Classification of Retinal Images Using Deep Neural Network and Deep-wavelet" The paper addresses the early diagnosis of retinal diseases, which are a major cause of vision loss globally. The research focuses on using the geometric features of retinal blood vessels for disease diagnosis. The proposed method consists of two stages for the classification and detection of eye diseases using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and geometric analysis of blood vessels. The first stage involves detecting the presence of any disease, while the second stage uses two datasets to classify four eye-related diseases by applying Deep Wavelet as a feature extraction technique. The results indicate that this approach is effective and achieves good results compared to other methods.

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi Honored with the Iraqi Science Day Award
