Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and as part of the training series organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, a specialized workshop titled “Literature Review Platforms” was held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, delivered by Dr. Mayas, with wide participation from several university colleges. This workshop is part of the university’s strategic program aimed at advancing digital transformation and integrating artificial intelligence technologies into academic and administrative operations. The training highlighted the importance of modern digital platforms in enhancing research efficiency, supporting academic writing, and strengthening scientific research capabilities. The workshop targeted staff members from the College of Administrative Sciences, College of Law, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, College of Fine Arts Education, and the College of Education. The session focused on introducing participants to key literature-review platforms, methods of evaluating scientific sources, and tools that aid researchers in managing references and reviewing academic materials effectively. The specialized workshop titled “Power BI” was held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al-Janabi, with wide participation from staff members of multiple colleges. The workshop targeted staff from the College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Nursing, and College of Agriculture, focusing on data analysis, creating interactive reports, and making informed decisions using the Power BI platform. This workshop is part of the university’s strategy to advance digital transformation and integrate artificial intelligence tools to enhance academic and administrative efficiency, while supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, through improved management of health data in medical colleges. Goal 4: Quality Education, by developing academic staff skills in data analytics. Applying AI in accurately and effectively simulating scientific experiments. Training students to use modern tools that enhance their scientific and practical skills. Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed the French visiting expert Stephan Diaz in a specialized training workshop entitled “Zero Pain Dentistry”, sponsored by Aplal International – Baghdad/Al-Mansour Branch, with the participation of faculty members and students from the College of Dentistry. The workshop, held at the Student Activities Hall in the Medical Building, lasted for more than an hour and a half. It provided a valuable scientific addition by showcasing the latest global practices in pain-free dentistry, thereby enriching participants’ knowledge and sharpening their practical skills. During the visit, the university presented its honorary shield to the French expert, while another shield was offered to Dr. Azhar, the representative of Aplal International. The visit also included a tour of the College of Dentistry and its clinical facilities, where the guest expressed admiration for the academic standards and modern equipment, taking commemorative photos across the campus. This hosting comes as part of the activities of the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division, which aims to attract international expertise and transfer modern knowledge to students, thereby enhancing their professional readiness and strengthening the university’s academic reputation at both regional and international levels. Within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing the competencies of its staff and students in the media and digital fields, programmer Sarah Sadoon Abbas participated in the online workshop organized by the Website Follow-up Department at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop took place on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM via Google Meet platform. The workshop was titled: "News Quality on University Websites: Foundations, Standards, and Institutional Impact" and was presented by Dr. Sabreen Farhan Jawad. It covered several key topics, including: The importance of news quality in building the university’s institutional reputation. Proper methods for drafting university news. Electronic publishing standards and media professionalism. The workshop aimed to raise publishing efficiency, enhance credibility, and improve audience engagement. The session witnessed notable interaction from attendees, including discussions and questions that contributed to practical benefits. This workshop is part of a series of developmental activities striving to achieve the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), alongside supporting media innovation and advancing digital performance in educational institutions.
