As part of AL-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to build partnerships with reputable global universities and in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to internationalize higher education in Iraq, the President of AL-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdi, visited Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He was received by the President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Sherif Yousef Khattab. The visit aimed to sign a cooperation protocol between the two institutions, with the goal of supporting scientific and research collaboration. From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ateya El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghalosh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Manal Eid, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Representing Future University from Iraq were Prof. Dr. Munther Fadhil Hassan, Administrative Assistant to the President, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadeq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, Mr. Abed Al-Ridha Shaker Magdy, Director of the University Affairs Department, and Prof. Dr. Walaa Louay Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. The President of Mansoura University, Dr. Sherif Khattab, welcomed the AL-Mustaqbal University delegation, noting that Iraqis are among the most ancient peoples of the world, with a rich history, heritage, and distinguished human resources. He emphasized the deep bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the Egyptian and Iraqi peoples. He also highlighted that Mansoura University is keen on implementing the national strategy for higher education and scientific research and Egypt’s Vision 2030 by expanding international partnerships with globally recognized institutions. Egypt aims to become a hub for educational services in the Arab region and the Middle East. Dr. Khattab confirmed that the signing of this protocol with Future University aims to strengthen cooperative frameworks between the two universities in areas of mutual interest. On his part, the President of AL-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdi, expressed his happiness with the cooperation agreement with the prestigious Mansoura University, which occupies a prominent position among Egyptian universities. He explained that the protocol aims to solidify collaboration in research and academic fields. In another part of his speech, the President of AL-Mustaqbal University mentioned that it is one of Iraq’s leading multidisciplinary universities, having gained increasing recognition at both regional and global levels. The university has witnessed significant growth and now offers 45 academic programs across 14 faculties in fields such as medicine, engineering, administration, arts, and humanities. Additionally, the university hosts two master's degree programs in Electronic Systems Engineering and Clinical Anatomy in collaboration with the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in a unique partnership that is the first of its kind among Iraqi public and private universities. The university also excels in research activities and has received national institutional accreditation, becoming the first private university in Iraq to do so. It has also been awarded the Iraqi Science Day Award for Distinguished University for two consecutive years, granted by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting included a documentary presentation showcasing the history of both universities. At the end of the signing ceremony, commemorative shields were exchanged between the two sides, and photographs were taken. The President of Al-Mustansiriyah University, Professor Dr. Hamid Fadel Al-Tamimi, welcomed the visiting delegation, which included Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations at the Presidency of AL-Mustaqbal University. The delegation provided an overview of AL-Mustaqbal University, the initiatives it has adopted, and the prestigious rankings it has achieved locally and internationally, highlighting the potential areas of cooperation between the two universities. A joint scientific and academic cooperation agreement has been signed between AL-Mustaqbal University and Al-Bayan University. The agreement aims to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities, thereby strengthening the standing of Iraqi universities and improving the scientific and educational landscape in Iraq and in comparison with their counterparts in the region and the world. The agreement includes cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, achieving the shared goals and vision of both universities. This includes the exchange of teaching and research expertise, the organization and hosting of scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as the activation of academic exchanges for students and researchers. Additionally, the agreement covers collaboration and coordination between the two universities in capacity building and skill development for professors and students, as well as updating curricula to keep pace with the rapid technological advancements occurring globally and to meet the needs of the labor market. The agreement was signed by Professor Haider Al-Imara, President of Al-Bayan University, and Professor Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision and Academic Affairs, representing the President of AL-Mustaqbal University. The signing took place at the headquarters of Al-Bayan University, attended by senior officials from Al-Bayan University, Professor Mohsen Al-Furaiji, consultant at AL-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, announced the achievement of the first international partnership by launching the first Master's program in partnership with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) / Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering starting from the academic year 2024-2025. This is a joint program in Electronic Systems Design Engineering (MSc ESDE), which will be offered through the AL-Mustaqbal University using the same curriculum and courses approved at USM. This came after the final agreement was signed to launch the program during the visit of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and his accompanying delegation to Malaysia to enhance scientific and international partnerships. This specialization accepts holders of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology Engineering, Control and Systems Engineering, Network and Information Engineering, and other related fields. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the AL-Mustaqbal University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Mohammed Rida Yahya on behalf of the AL-Mustaqbal University. On the Malaysian side, it was signed by Professor Dato' Seri Abdul Rahman, President of USM, and Professor Dr. Shahril Sondi, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, President of Diyala University, welcomed the visiting delegation, which included Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision and Academic Affairs, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations at the Presidency of AL-Mustaqbal University. Dr. Mubarak highlighted the importance of activating the agreement between the two universities, noting that there are many common areas that can be worked on together by forming working teams with specific timelines and prioritized schedules. It is worth mentioning that a scientific and cultural memorandum of understanding was signed earlier last year between the AL-Mustaqbal University and Diyala University. The memorandum included several key areas, foremost among them joint scientific research, participation in scientific conferences and workshops, exchange visits, benefiting from successful experiences in achieving sustainable development goals, capacity building for professors, curriculum updates, student activities, and the possibility of initiating quality entrepreneurial projects that embody the concept of a productive university.
A delegation from the AL-Mustaqbal University, including Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of Quality Assurance, visited the University of Mosul. They were received by Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmedi, President of the University of Mosul, and his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Muneer Salem. Following a discussion on possible cooperation, both sides express their interest in partnering in research collaboration and other field of scientific affairs, a memorandum of understanding was signed to manifest this interest. in addition to collaborative research, the MOU covers several pillars of activities; conferences and workshops, visits exchange, joint supervision, and expertise exchanging and success stories in implementing sustainable development goals projects and activities.

While, Prof. Dr. Nasser Thalaj, has signed the MOU on behalf of Al-Rashid International University for Science and Technology. The memorandum signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Quality Assurance at Future University, Dr. Riyad Hamid Salman.
