Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and as part of the University’s commitment to strengthening the scientific and practical aspects of students’ education, Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University delivered a scientific lecture for third-year students in the Department of Cybersecurity Sciences. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Faryal Ibrahim Jabbar. The lecture addressed a number of scientific topics related to artificial intelligence and its modern applications, with a particular focus on the importance of employing intelligent technologies in supporting cybersecurity, data analysis, digital threat detection, and addressing evolving cyber risks and attacks. The lecture witnessed active scientific interaction from the students through questions and discussions, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the practical applications of artificial intelligence and its growing role in developing digital protection and cybersecurity systems. The lecture also highlighted the importance of integrating artificial intelligence with cybersecurity, as both are among the most rapidly advancing technological fields. This development requires students to acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to address future digital challenges. This lecture is part of the scientific activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mehdi Abadi Manaa, as part of the Center’s efforts to support academic departments, strengthen the practical educational environment, and provide students with opportunities to explore the latest technologies and trends in artificial intelligence and its diverse applications. Through such activities, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to developing students’ scientific and technical skills and linking academic knowledge with modern applications, contributing to the preparation of specialized graduates capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
