The First International Conference on Modern Technologies and Their Applications in Sustainable Education Kicks Off at Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the activities of the Third Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week Festival, the First International Conference on Modern Technologies and Their Applications in Sustainable Education commenced on Wednesday and Thursday, April 16–17, 2025, at Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4): Quality Education, and served as the opening event of the festival. It attracted a distinguished group of academics from local, Arab, and international universities, in addition to representatives from the labor market. The first day featured a series of scientific sessions addressing themes such as innovation in education, green learning, digital technologies, and global experiences in sustainable education. Moreover, three panel discussions were held, focusing on artificial intelligence, community partnerships, and the role of modern technologies in promoting sustainability. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.

Al-Mustaqbal University Welcomes First International Delegation Participating in the 2025 Future Week for Sustainability Festival

In a warm and academically vibrant atmosphere, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed its first international delegation today, marking the beginning of the 3rd edition of the International Future Week for Sustainability Festival 2025, which is set to officially launch tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16, and continue through April 24. Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, personally received the delegation from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey, which included Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet (University President), Prof. Dr. Mehmet KILIC (Vice President), Leyla AKBULUT (Head of the Department of Energy Management & Sustainability), and Prof. Dr. Atilgan. A number of senior academic and administrative figures from Al-Mustaqbal University were also present at the reception. Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education Extend Letters of Appreciation on the Occasion of Iraqi Academics Day
