In a remarkable academic achievement that adds to Al-Mustaqbal University’s record of scientific success, the University has made its global debut in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027 (THE WUR 2027), securing a position in the 1201–1400 band worldwide. The ranking includes 2,297 universities from 118 countries and territories. On this occasion, Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University extends its sincere congratulations on this significant academic achievement, which reflects the University’s continuous progress in higher education and scientific research, as well as its institutional efforts to strengthen its presence and standing within the international academic community. This achievement places Al-Mustaqbal University second among Iraqi universities, following the University of Technology, and first among private universities in Iraq, within the 1201–1400 band globally. This milestone represents an important step forward in the University’s pursuit of academic and research excellence and its engagement with international scientific institutions. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized that this achievement is the result of the sustained efforts and fruitful collaboration of the University’s academic, research, and administrative staff. He noted that it serves as a strong motivation to further enhance academic performance, advance scientific research, and achieve further accomplishments that strengthen the University’s local and international standing. Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications recognizes the significance of this achievement and reaffirms the importance of continuing to support innovation, scientific research, and the application of artificial intelligence technologies in education. These efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
